OUR TEACHERS
Prof. Gengyang Li, Director of Course Design and Delivery
Prof. Li is Formal Executive Director of Chinese Language and Culture College Nankai University. He has over 40 years of teaching experience with the past 25 years in teaching Chinese as secondary language in more than 5 foreign countries college and universities. He was a Master Degree student advisor for Nankai University. He speaks and reads in English and Russian.
Professor Futian Jia, Director of Training & Recruiting
Prof. Jia graduated from Changchun Film Institute major in Screen Writing. However, due to historical reason, he has been in teaching Chinese as secondary language foe the past 35 years. He has taught Chinese in Spain, Italy and Brazil. Prof. Jia is trilingual Chinese-Spanish and Chinese-Portugal. Before retiring, he was a Professor with Chinese Language and Culture College, Nankai University.
Ms. Kitty Liu, Director of Student Service
Ms. Liu graduated from Tianjin Normal University with a Master degree in Chinese literature. She is bilingual Chinese – English, as a teacher, she has been teaching Chinese as secondary language for the past 6 years. She has teaching certificate for Chinese and has passed Level 6 College English Certificate, and enjoys a good book and great music.
Ms. Yu Zhang, Chinese, English
Ms. Zhang has a Master Degree in Education from Tianjin Normal University and she has been with us from the inception of our school. Ms. Zhang is bilingual Chinese English with Level 6 College English Certificate with teaching credential for teaching Chinese as secondary language.
Miss. Katrina Liu, Chinese, English
Miss Liu is doing her internship with us since she is graduating in the coming year from Tianjin Normal University major in Teaching Chinese as Secondary Language. Miss liu is bilingual Chinese – English with Level 6 College English Certificate with two years of experience teaching Chinese as secondary language to Korean and American students. Miss Liu is an active participant of local Radio and TV station broadcasting programs.
Miss. Chen Chen, Chinese, English
Miss Chen has been with us as a teacher since our inception in 2007. She is currently a part time teacher since she is pursuing her Master of Art degree in Teaching Chinese as Secondary Language major in Lianzhou University. Miss Chen is bilingual Chinese –English with Level 6 College English Certificate. Miss Chen enjoys computer gamming and is familiar with major computer applications including database management.
Miss Tingying Yang, English Teacher
Miss Yang is in graduating class of 2010 from Hebei University major in Economics. With impeccable academic record, she went to San Diego State University in 2008 as an exchange student. Miss Yang is fluent in English and Chinese who has very high TOEFL & GMAT score. Miss Yang is our part time English teacher.
Mr. Michael Li, Chinese, Korean & English
Mr. Chen is trilingual Chinese Korean & English teacher, he is a LG (Tianjin) staff language trainer, who moonlights with us in the evening to teaching Korean or English speaking students who wish to learn Mandarin Chinese online with us.
