AP Chinese Test Prep

AP® Chinese test is administrated every May. Our AP® Chinese test course focuses on improving students’ ability in all aspects: speaking, listening, reading, writing, as well as your familiarity with Chinese culture. You will have one-on-one live AP Chinese practice with professional Chinese teachers. We will work with your specific strengths and weaknesses in the various functional areas of AP Chinese test to ensure that you will get the best test score possible.

What is the AP Chinese exam about?

The Advanced Placement Chinese Language and Culture course and exam are an initiative on the part of the College Board. The aim is to acquaint secondary school students as much as possible with multiple languages and cultures. The AP Chinese course meets the prescribed standards of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL), and Foreign Language Learning in the 21st Century.

The AP Chinese exam duration is of 2 hours and 15 minutes. The exam tests the students’ interpersonal, interpretive and presentational skills in the Mandarin Chinese language along with knowledge of Chinese culture.

Chinesesphere’s AP Chinese class has passed the College Board’s course audit certifying us to offer our lessons to high school students in US and international schools.
